Barrandon Pond lies on the southern slope of Mont Lozère, in the central zone of the Cévennes National Park, and it is a historic site. The landscape is both austere and grand. Only a part of the lake’s surface area is open for fishing. The cold waters of Mont Lozère gathering in this natural depression quickly make the trout living in it remarkably hardy.

Open from 1 May to 18 September from 10 am to 6 pm.

Road access is on the D 35, between the Col de Montmirat pass and Le Pont de Montvert
Equipment and bait are available on-site. Shady picnic area.
