Château de Castanet
The Château was built in the late 16th century and used by the Isarn family for two centuries. During the French Revolution, it was sold as a property of the state. It was declared a listed historical building in the 1960s and thus saved from a watery grave when the EDF dam was built. The Château reopened to the public in 2006 after being completely restored following a fire. Today, it houses a permanent exhibition on the region's history as well as temporary exhibitions by artists and artisans.
The Château is open for visits every day in July and August.
The Château's outdoor exhibition and park can be visited year-round.
