
Springs of the Lot and Goulet
Discover the spring of the river Lot, located in a zone of peatbogs at an altitude of around 1 300m. Cross the characterful hamlet of Les Alpiers, where the writer Stevenson and his she-donkey Modestine walked.

Signposts will guide you all along this route, as well as yellow painted waymarks. In the description below, the signposted place names and/or directions are given in bold italics between quotation marks :
Starting at “Le Bleymard”, walk to “La Remise”, “Les Alpiers”, “Chap Duolt”, continue to “Sources du Lot” and return to “Chap Duolt”, before continuing to “Lou Feyra”, “Frachassou”, “La Plone 2x”, “L’Ayrette”, “Prat del Castre”, “St Jean du Bleymard” and “Le Bleymard”.
